I know firsthand just how intimidating that can be, but it doesn’t have to be this way. I’m hosting my 3rd VIP Market Preview Day in July, and I’d love for you to join me! Here’s how it all goes down and what you’ll walk away with:

First things first, I only take a select few with me to this VIP Preview to Atlanta's America's Mart market (so don’t delay in applying!). The 3 product makers I took with me back in January had 3 very different products, but they all had one thing in common – questions about booth designs, pricing, how customers will find them, and overall what would work for their brand, and what wouldn’t.

This is what a VIP Market Preview Day is all about, preparing you for your first booth set up so you can show up confident and ready to meet buyers who will fall in love with your products! 

Here’s an overview of what you can expect the day of:

We’ll meet as soon as the doors open on the first day of temporary showrooms, and plan out the day (but not before coffee!).

I recommend that you bring comfortable walking shoes because we’ll be putting in some steps going through the temporary booth floors. During this time we’ll take note of booth designs, pricing, what we liked/didn’t like, and get insights from different vendors.

Doing this research is the best way to get your feet wet and not be intimidated while setting up your show for the first time because you’ll already have all the information you need for your booth to be a success! 

We’ll also chat with the Sales Floor Manager to gain insight into the “handmade and American-made” sections. Don’t worry, if your product fits more in the “general gift” area, we’ll speak to the Sales Manager for that section as well. This is why I only take a limited number of VIPs, so each person gets a tailored experience for their product. 

There are 5 apparel markets in Atlanta and 2 gift and home markets. Determining where you see your products and when your buyers are coming to the shows will help you decide which market is best for you. This VIP preview to America's Mart in Atlanta is for the gift and home market. It's a great representation of what the biggest shows offer in Atlanta.
