Paris Curated Itinerary

  • Day One

Bienvenue! You arrive at your own schedule and settle into the hotel, a four-star retreat nestled in the 1ere arrondissement of Paris. We join together for an early Welcome Dinner to celebrate the beginning of our time together. We will make introductions and toast to our days ahead before we settle in for an early night.

  • Day Two

We start our day early with a gourmet breakfast at the hotel. (Try the butter!) Together, we travel like Parisians on le metro to a professionals-only flea market just 20 minutes outside of Paris. Discover antique treasures and trinkets, including homewares, furniture, jewelry and fashion. Feel confident you’re getting good deals, great advice and one-of-a-kind items with two experts by your side. Find a bite to eat at your leisure before rounding out the day with more market shopping. We travel back to Paris together and you will find a bite to eat in the neighborhood in a small group or on your own.

  • Day Three

Gourmet breakfast at the hotel. Together we make our way to a French cooking school for a private class. We spend a relaxing morning learning how to create the French culinary treat, le soufflé. As a group we will create a delicious déjeuner (lunch), including a savory cheese soufflé, a selection of French cheeses, a salade (salad) with a traditional French vinaigrette, and a delicate and sweet chocolate soufflé for dessert. We will feast in our accomplishment as a group, and enjoy lunch together with a glass of wine while overlooking the Seine and the newly reopened Notre Dame Cathedral. After lunch, you will explore Paris on your time through the evening.

  • Day Four

Gourmet breakfast at the hotel. We will spend the morning at the largest flea market in Paris, Les Puces Saint Ouen. The afternoon is open for your own adventures! We will have plenty of suggestions for you, the French pharmacie, a traditional market street near the Eiffel Towel, or a list of our favorite boutiques and stores.

  • Day Five

Gourmet breakfast at the hotel.  As an option, you may elect to visit a neighborhood brocante, a smaller flea market with fantastic deals and hidden treasures, with us as a guide. Your afternoon is free to relax and explore on our own. There will be plenty of time for last minute shopping, people watching at a sidewalk cafe, and packing! We will be around to assist you and provide suggestions. We all come together in the evening for a celebratory Goodbye Dinner and a champagne toast.

  • Day Six

After a final gourmet breakfast at the hotel, we will say au revoir to our new friends. You may depart on your own time. A bientôt (see you soon!).

If you go…

  • You’ll have the time of your life in the most beautiful city in the world.

  • You’ll come home with treasures from Paris’s best-kept secret flea market.

  • You’ll get a leg up on your holiday shopping.

  • You’ll feel confident that you got the best deals.

  • You’ll go with experts who have insider knowledge of the best Paris has to offer.

If you don’t…

  • You’ll lose the opportunity to make life-long friendships.

  • You’ll only hit the tourist spots and the places everyone else goes.

  • You’ll have to do your holiday shopping at home.

  • You’ll miss out on deals without an expert to guide you.

  • You’ll wish you had an interior designer and a stylist holding your hand.

Lucy Farmer

From HGTV’s Beach Flip to my blog series Build a New House with Old Things, I’ve made a career out of incorporating vintage and antique pieces into stunning home designs. As a seasoned shopper and designer, I love inspiring people just like YOU to find creativity in the everyday!

Based in Birmingham, Alabama, I live with my husband of 29 years. With our two wonderful children now out of the nest, I have more time to pursue my passion: helping others discover inspiration and creativity in unexpected places. My travels around the world have taught me about different cultures and unique art and design opportunities that I can't wait to share with you.

As someone with Vitiligo, a condition that leaves white patches on my skin, I see my unique skin as “shifting clouds,” a personal canvas of creativity I carry with me. I believe there is beauty and creativity around every corner, and I’m here to help you see and apply this beauty in your own life

Ashley Viola

My love for France started young, when I lived in Paris with my parents and was told I could have anything I wanted as long as I could ask for it in French. I soon knew all of the colors of the wrapped chocolate bars at our neighborhood boulangerie and found myself the new owner of a stuffed animal miniature poodle named Pierre.

Fundamentally not much has changed since then, although I don’t love chocolate as much as I used to and I have two real teacup Yorkies named India and Margot. I am based in New York City with my teenage son and my husband of 19 years, and we split our time between the city that never sleeps and the city of light. Paris has and always will have my heart.

Professionally, I found a way to shop for a living, and I’m a collector of things with beautiful design and a story to tell. I’m excited to share with you an inside look at what it’s like to be a New Yorker/Parisian, an unapologetic obsession with all things French, and one-of-a-kind finds that provide that je ne sais quoi. Bisous!
