ANTIQUES, DESIGN, & LIFE STYLE
Ready to go to PARIS?
Well, I know you are…ever since the first time you saw it pop up on your Instagram feed. You knew you had to get there and it needed to be done right!
Whether it's that missing antique for your house that you're dying to see in person…or the creative inspiration that's going to come from looking at European patina’d antiques and stunning fine art, you know your soul is going to come alive in Paris.
Buuut, there are two obvious problems A) Rallying the troops to go with you and B) Round Top is a little like Disney World (IYKYK).
The truth is, it can be a little overwhelming to know who to go with, what to hit, where to eat, where to stay…you know, all the details.
That's why for the first time ever, I’m offering something I’ve been dreaming of for far too long: An all inclusive retreat to experience Paris with an EXPERT (that’s me)!
From the moment you arrive at our luxury accommodations until the final morning when we tearily hug goodbye, I’ve got EVERY detail taken care of!
PARIS CURATED: ANTIQUES, DESIGN, & LIFESTYLE
September 2025
Come experience Paris, France with co-hosts Lucy Farmer and Ashley Viola. We will spend 5 days in the City of Light and live la vie en rose.
☆ SHOPPING
Spend 4 days visiting a curated selection of boutiques and ateliers.
I’ve intentionally curated four days to “shop till you drop” at my favorite Paris flea markets, venues and shops, so you won’t have to worry about figuring out where to go or which spots are the best! Together, we’ll find luxurious chandeliers, french antiques with the perfect patina, fashion that’s chic, and endless treasures to give your home an old soul. You’ll also get access to the infamous Chatou Faire where the professionals shop the most curated french finds.
☆ FRENCH CROISSANT AND PASTRY CLASS
To break up the shopping sprees and fully immerse yourself in authentic Texas culture, I’ll guide you through a one-of-a-kind experience where you'll customize your very own hat! Trust me, you’ll want to wear it for the rest of the trip. Hats at the local shops range from $150-$1,500…but lucky you will get to join this exclusive workshop where you’ll make a hat that’s uniquely yours. You can add ribbons, chains, architectural salvage, and even have your initials burned in for a personal touch. Everyone will be wondering where you got it! Hat hair? Don’t care!
☆ STAY
Luxury lodging one of the most exclusive hotels in the area, which happens to be located in the heart of all the iconic 1st Arrondissement! You’ll be able to eat, shop, and be entertained in a few square miles! I can’t wait to welcome you with open arms and a glass of champagne!
☆ EXPERT GUIDANCE
I’ll share my knowledge as an expert using architectural salvage…including how I’m currently designing and styling the new home I’ve just built with vintage finds from Paris, France. Start your Pinterest boards and take pics of your space so I can help you determine what can go where! Prior to the trip, we will meet on Zoom so I have a good idea of what you’re looking for while we’re there. You’ll have your own interior designer by your side! I've got a knack for finding the perfect pieces, even the ones you didn't know you needed. (keep scrolling for more on this topic…)

Meet your new french bff’s, Lucy and Ashley
From HGTV’s Beach Flip to my blog series Build a New House with Old Things, I’ve made a career out of incorporating vintage and antique pieces into stunning home designs. As a seasoned shopper and designer, I love inspiring people just like YOU to find creativity in the everyday!
Based in Birmingham, Alabama, I live with my husband of 28 years. With our two wonderful children now out of the nest, I have more time to pursue my passion: helping others discover inspiration and creativity in unexpected places. My travels around the world have taught me about different cultures and unique art and design opportunities that I can't wait to share with you.
As someone with Vitiligo, a condition that leaves white patches on my skin, I see my unique skin as “shifting clouds,” a personal canvas of creativity I carry with me. I believe there is beauty and creativity around every corner, and I’m here to help you see and apply this beauty in your own life.
Join me at the Round Top Retreat, where I'll be by your side, guiding you through hand-selecting and shopping for those perfect pieces. Whether you're looking for that one-of-a-kind antique or the perfect vintage find, I'll help you navigate the market and choose items that will transform your home. It's never too late to explore a new craft, try a new idea, or pick up a new hobby—and I’m here to help you every step of the way!
Need shopping advice or guidance? I've got you covered!
Need a new door? I can help you know what will fit in your house so you don’t have to tear out the frame.
Want an old chandelier? We'll discuss what you need to get it installed in your home.
New build vs. old build? There are different parameters, and I can guide you through them.
Found a piece of architectural salvage but unsure how to use it? I can help you dream up various ways to incorporate it into your home so it's ready to go when you get it back.
Got a spot that needs something special but you're not sure what? I'll help you brainstorm different items to look for, and with the right dimensions, we can find something amazing that you didn't even know existed!
Paris, France
“Our town is the best of both worlds. We're the Round Top Antiques Show. We're country chic meets arts and culture. We're stellar shopping and southern hospitality. We're fine dining mixed with front-porch living. Yep, Round Top's a way of life. Our Texas version of Aspen (that’s according to “Texas Monthly”) is a year-round escape from the big-city bustle. No traffic, no smog, no place you'll love more.”
“The Round Top Antiques Show is more than antiques and shabby chic signage. It's over two weeks of people flocking to Round Top, Texas, from across the U.S. It's treasure hunts and a festival of epic proportions. It's food, fun and friendships formed over shared searches for one-of-a-kind finds. It's a level of insanity rarely seen in the Texas countryside — and it happens twice a year.”
