Growing up, weekends with my dad meant navigating the whirlwind of a newly expanded family. Rather than immersing myself in the chaos, I often found solace in the quiet refuge of a good book. In those moments, I discovered that hiding within the pages was easier than vying for attention in the boisterous household. The characters and plots became my sanctuary, offering me a sense of peace amidst the flurry of family dynamics. And so, I embraced the tranquility of storytelling, finding comfort in the gentle whisper of each turned page.
