creative play

$150.00

Growing up, I had the unique opportunity to "design" my own room. From choosing the paint color to selecting fabrics for the quilt my grandmother made me, every detail was carefully considered. I took immense pride in arranging the furniture just the way I liked it. My room wasn't just a place to sleep; it was my sanctuary, my own little world within four walls.

Whenever I felt the need for change but couldn't repaint or buy a new comforter, I would simply rearrange the furniture or move my bed to a different spot. Each adjustment breathed new life into the space, making it feel fresh and exciting. My room wasn't just a space; it was a canvas for my creativity and self-expression.

Over the years, my room became a treasure trove of memories, a place where I could truly be myself. It was where I learned the art of freedom, where I felt safe and secure. The familiar sights and smells enveloped me in a warm embrace, comforting me through thick and thin.

Looking back, my room wasn't just a collection of furniture and decor; it was a reflection of who I was and who I was becoming. It taught me the joy of creating a space that was uniquely mine, a space where I could dream, grow, and play freely.
