I think 2018 can go down in the record books as the fastest year ever!
I'm ready to slow down. I've been saying that for years! I've read books about slowing down and dreamed of it, but I don't know how to slow down. I say every year will be the year and yet, I have every single weekend booked for January! I hope February stays slow because by mid March we are booked for months on end.
To try and figure out a slower method of living,
I know to some that seems silly and to some it's like taking away breathing. I will be back in February and I'm sure the bad habits of scrolling will come back so easily, it will be like I was never gone. Unless Instagram enables the roll-out of tap to see the next post like they did the day after Christmas! With that I'll pick right up and scrolling will be a long lost memory of 2018.
I want to spend more time on my website and in your inbox. I believe that emailing my tribe will enable us to
It will give me the opportunity to be on top of my business instead of being "inspired" by those on instagram. I am a comparer. I like to see what others are doing and learn from them, but I always beat myself up for not being better at something.
I'll be sending emails and posting on my blog and I hope you'll join me. I hope to take better pictures, be more aware of my surroundings and plan for content. I want this to be a space where you learn something and are inspired by what is happening at Lucy's Inspired.
I expect there to be a lot of changes. I had a huge sale for the 12 days of Christmas and depleted most of my inventory. I want that to mean there will be a lot more small batch art from me in the year 2019. I want it to mean that you will learn the why of what I am doing and learning and it will inspire you to do the same. It's hard being a 7 on the Enneagram because we don't stop and smell the roses. We keep on keeping on and don't look back.
I'm spending this first day of the new year celebrating my wins from 2018 and remembering the lessons so that I can grow forward.
Feel free to share a goal, dream or just your word for 2019. I'm still nailing mine down and will share closer to the end of the month. Knowing this year will be a year of change, I'm not going to hold myself to a standard that will feel like failure if I don't achieve everything I put down on paper.
