I was so excited to stop in the Holiday Kress On Dexler Pop Up shop featuring Southern Makers this morning! I was in there on Monday and man, they have been working HARD!! It was a shell of a space on Monday. Didn’t even have a door!! Today, there are absolutely perfect vignettes on every side! I am so in love with this idea. They have taken a small space in downtown Montgomery and made it into a Maker’s Gift Shop. I can’t think of a better way to do all of my Christmas Shopping done. They literally have something for everyone in my family! I love the fact that I can support Alabama makers and check off my list! The list of makers is so good. You have Emma Jane Hunt Jewelry, Mad Caps, East River Trading, Cotton and Pine, Kennedy Prints, Stately Made, MarcNelson Denim, fannel and floral, dick cecil, museum of wonder, olive and sinclair, revelator coffee, caroline sayre, great bear wax co., loyal stricklin, and lucy’s inspired jewelry. There are probably more and you need to go by and see just what they have in real life. It’s a great store!! They opened today. Hours 11am-7pm from now thru Christmas Eve! I have a feeling this will sell through fast, so get down there asap. They are planning a Grand Opening for December 4th with a tin type photographer, carolers and chestnuts roasting! Can you get anymore holiday cheer than that?
I ran through Welle Studio to pick up my prism girl and head south to Troy for a fun Trunk Show at Perfectly Imperfect. I got to do a cuff workshop! I love to share how you can turn something that you usually find in a drawer and think you should just throw out into something you would wear every day! We had several lovely ladies come. I asked who owned a piece of my jewelry and they all raised their hands. How awesome is that. So incredibly humbling to know that something you love, others love too. What a perfect way to spend a day. These cuffs made tonight were truly “perfectly imperfect”. We will just say, I need to pay attention to those cute teenagers that come over after school! Thanks so much to Shaunna, Kaitlyn and Julie. Today was incredible!
